Album Notes
Cali Rose has worked as a singer, musician, songwriter and entertainer her whole life. When Cali did her piano bar thing in Los Angeles, she performed all kinds of music, from jazz and gospel to country, comedy and smooth ballads. This EP represents the best of her songwriting, uncovered gems, from that period in her career.

“There’s Something in the Air” is a rollicking gospel-flavored tune that features her hot piano chops and vocals. Gotta love that last “oow-eee.”

“When The Full Moon Comes Over The Hill” is a seductive, sexy ballad. Who is the stranger who visits on the full moon?

“Baby, I Love You So” jazzes things up with fun and exuberance and harkens back to the beloved swing tunes of the Big Band era.

“Ten Years Ago” retells the story of Cali’s Ten Year high school reunion and “that guy,” that fantasy guy who shows up at the reunion too. What happens next? Listen to find out.

“Gimme The Night” is Cali’s country song. She channels Dolly Parton and plays a very mean banjo to boot.

“Somewhere Beyond Time and Space.” Ever meet someone and get a sudden shock of recognition, as if you have known each other, maybe forever? Well who knows, but this life is a mystery. To be lived and put into a song.
