Album Notes
Some years ago I was fêted by an environmental group in southern Arizona called Sky Island alliance. They took a group of performing and visual artists camping and hiking. In exchange, we would create a work of art to champion an area called the Tumacacori Highlands.
This song Hymn to the Wilderness was originally produced and recorded by Kevin Pakulis on Guitars, with Larry Lee Lerma on Bass, Ralph Gilmore on drums, Duncan Stitt, Keyboards and Jo Wilkinson on Harmonies. The recording is available in a book called Art In Wilderness.
This version which Mitzi Cowell recorded and played down a sonic prayer for, Is more what I have always heard. Jacquelene Ambrose plays guitar and sings harmony. Jeff Pevar mastered.

This song paints a musical landscape. Transports me into the wilderness and holds me there.
