Album Notes
The New Orleans Saints' anthem “Who Dat?”, recorded over 25 years ago by Steve Monistere and Carlo Nuccio, gained notoriety in the era of Bum Philips and Kenny "Snake" Stabler and somehow carried into the present. In 2009, the New Orleans musicians and producers joined again for a new take on the old song. With an all-star line-up of New Orleans musicians that included Aaron Neville, who delivered the vocal on "Who Dat", Theresa Andersson, Ivan Neville, Jon Cleary, Shamarr Allen, Joe Cabral and Matt Perrine, a new and sure to be lasting Saints song was created. "Who Dats' Glory Bound!" After the New Orleans' Saints spectacular journey to win the 2009 Superbowl, a new 2010 version of "Who Dat" was recorded. Nuccio’s devotion to the New Orleans Saints inspired the lyrics; “Glory Bound! Glory Bound! This year, Saints are Glory Bound!"
