ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
A latin Bossa Nova Santana flavored tune with a creative bass line, the chords are played with a piccolo string bass.

Carlos Franco has been around as a solo artist for more than five years. He started as a founding member of the mexican Rock Pop Band "Eslabon". In 2011 he launched the single "Tu voz al Oído" under the pseudonym "Linksonus" produced by Latin Grammy winner Javier Montiel who also played strings. From there on he launched two more singles as Linksonus in 2012 and in 2013 he finally released a solo album under his real name.

His style can be defined as McCartney meets the Ramones. His lyrics oscillate between english and spanish. He flirts with different genres from Rock, Pop, Country and Folk to Spoken Word and lately Bossa Nova as it is the case with Personajes Bizarros vol1. Erica Baz” the first of a series of singles whose lyrics parody certain characters of modern society.
Personajes Bizarros vol1. Erica Baz will be the delight of Brazilian music as well as Santana´s fans. A “must” to the audiences looking for modern Mexican independent artists.
