Carmel Boyle is an Irish singer and composer of spiritually orientated songs. Her songs are evocative and her voice has a pure angelic quality that exudes a healing energy and touches hearts. Her songs are inspired by her own spiritual journey, her Irish spiritual heritage and the writings of Christian mystics. There is a simplicity and beauty about her songs and audiences are uplifted and moved by her performances. Her albums are an experience of prayer. They are contemplative songs of inspiration and are songs of encouragement for the spiritual journey. Many of her songs are inspired by Celtic themes, Christian mysticism and have a quality that can enhance liturgy, ritual and personal prayer. Carmel’s work is influenced by her belief that the expressive arts can be a doorway to Divine encounter and flows from her training in theology, spirituality, holistic modalities and the expressive arts. She presents her songs in concert, conferences and retreat settings and is a popular retreat facilitator.
