ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Allow it to Happen is a singer/songwriter album from the contemporary harpist Carol Emanuel
It's got a pop/folk/brazillian feel.....and is weaved with beautiful vocals and harmonies from the harp.
Carol is supported by great musicians....most notably Marc Ribot of Tom Waits and Alison Kraus fame....check out his gorgeous work here...and Greg Cohen and Kenny Wolleson. Also on the album is Tony Levin and Jerry Marotta...from Peter Gabriel fame and many many others. The music is beautiful and moving...some of the tracks are instrumental improvs featuring the harp with percussion and Ribots electric guitar. Very unusual combinations and results.
Check it out!
