Album Notes
The Car Stealers were formed in 1978 by Elvis Martini, Shitforbrains and Larry Don't, when they met at Stony Mountain Penitentiary. After each original member did respective stints in federal prison for Auto Theft, Vehicular Manslaughter, Theft over $5000, and Cattle Rustling, the band reformed in 2008. The trio recorded the Fast and Shitty EP, featuring the single "Let's Go Steal a Car" to national acclaim.

A national tour was planned in support of the release, until unfortunate circumstances in November of 2009 saw bassist Larry Don't arrested and incarcerated once again for Grand Theft Auto.

Martini and SFB thought all was lost, until they stumbled across a very intoxicated Tommy Toilet sleeping in the back of a recently stolen Dodge Intrepid. In the interest of maintaining their anonymity, they beat him senseless with chains and an aluminum baseball bat, and left him for dead in the basement which was also the Car Stealers' rehearsal studio.

Several days had passed when, upon their return to the basement, they found that Tommy had not only drunk the entire supply of alcohol, but also taught himself to play their back catalog. Rigorous practice sessions and late night car thefts ensued, and within days the band was back at the top of its game.

Scheduled for release in 2010, the Car Stealers' new album "Faster and Shittier" is already being hailed by critics as one of the worst pieces of crap to ever come out of the Canadian Prairies. The band plans to tour in support of the record, so long as Shitforbrains stays on his prescribed medication and Elvis Martini can avoid his arrest warrants.
