ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Casey's new album "November" features a collection of beautiful solo piano songs inspired by landscapes and childhood/young adult memories of Casey's life growing up in the Blue Ridge Mountain region of Northern Virginia and rural Upstate New York. Growing up with gospel and Christian contemporary music, influenced by his father’s country and his brother’s Irish folk records, having studied classical music and working for bands, musicians and performing artists of all genres, Crosby developed his own style of music which is hard to describe. Critics use words like “magical”, “mystical” or “melancholic” to describe Casey’s music. They say that he manages to tell stories at the piano. Indeed, behind every song is a memory and behind every memory a story. Not all memories are good memories though Crosby not only wanted to tell his personal story but to give the listeners emotions to which they could relate - a journey of warmth and melancholy.
