Album Notes
Jazz Revelation Records is a student-founded, artist-driven record label created to present the top jazz composers and performers from Berklee College of Music.

Gathered from all over the globe, JRR artists speak the traditional language of jazz in a new way. Their youth, their passion, and their commitment are the launching pad for a sound that gets inside your head, heart, and soul. And it's difficult to believe these complex, rich, yet emotionally satisfying original compositions have been written and performed by young men and women barely in their mid-20's!

Jazz is a continuation of a very old conversation. One that made the voyage from Africa, married the blues, and was shouted out from the delta cotton fields to the South Side of Chicago, then headed back to Europe and beyond with Dexter, Miles, Coltrane, and the Duke himself, Mr. Ellington, leading the way into the great mystery that is America's music.
