ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Cathie and the Comets bring the blues into the year 2000 with an exciting modern interpretation. Relying on their years of club experience, Cathie and the Comets bring to you, blues with fiery precision, but at the same time has a spontaneous feel. Cathie's voice on "Scars Of Love" is impressive with its laid back feel but she can rev it up on the modern sounding, "Where are you." Also on the CD is the popular, "Tumbleweed" that brings a toe tap and a smile to everyone that hears it. Even though the Comets are a new band, especially by blues standards, their soul runs deep and their gonna be around for many years into the future. Look for Cathie and the Comets in the Southern California area promoting their self entitled CD.

Great Debut album that showcases experienced musicians
This spicy debut album is soulful but hopefull and different than many albums. Cathie sings the songs with such emotion and is in a groove, you can really feel where she is coming from. The soft sultry voice combined with experienced musicians is fantastic.

The CD is all around entertaining
The CD is all around entertaining. The slow songs has you feeling the same emotions as the singer. The fast songs have you dancing in your seat. TumbleWeed is by far the hottest track on the CD. Keeps you humming the song all day long.
