Album Notes
"Kentucky Stories" has been described as a captivating blend of spoken word and chamber rock. The album won best spoken-word CD at the Boston Poetry Awards 2000.

Poet CD Collins received an emerging artist award from the Cambridge Arts Council. She has performed in numerous venues in the Boston area, including the Charles Playhouse, Club Passim, and Jimmy Tingle's Off Broadway Theater. She has published short fiction in StoryQuarterly, the Pennsylvania Review, Salamander, Pennsylvania Review, South Dakota Review, the Louisville Review, Imagine, and other magazines.

Twenty-five percent of the proceeds from each compact disc will be donated to the Ohio Valley Environmental Coalition - http://www.ohvec.org - to help fight against mountaintop removal mining.
