ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Chance Wilder Onody an exciting and innovative instrumentalist, unlike anyone you have heard before, is releasing a Big Band/Pop/Jazz song in an amazingly unique way, performing 19 parts all on bass. Chance Wilder Onody bows the intricate, emotional and jazzy melody line, adding a touch of classical flare with his virtuosity.

No one else in the industry does what Chance Wilder Onody is doing, performing full orchestrations and the melodies on bass. On this release Chance Wilder Onody delivers a hauntingly magical and beautiful rendition of “Feeling Good” written by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley, produced by Doctor O. Kitajima.

Noteworthy musicians who join Chance Wilder Onody on this recording are the incredible and legendary drummer “Doane Perry” (Jethro Tull), the remarkable guitar stylist “Paul Junior Garrison” (Ricki Lee Jones), also adding to the magic are the great keyboards of “Dr. David Baron” and the light rhythm guitar of Emmy nominated singer/songwriter “Chris Gerolmo” (Over There).

Chance Wilder Onody’s extraordinary ideas to significantly showcase the versatility and dimension of the bass, which is often thought of as just a back up instrument, has created with this recording not only a showcase of the bass, but also a showcase of the brilliance and phenomenal talent of Chance Wilder Onody.
