Album Notes
The past 2 years has been one hell of a crazy international adventure for fresh new Australian band "changoTRee" from Victoria’s Mornington Peninsular. They have “jet-lagged” the globe, traveling recording writing & performing shows & festivals in New Orleans, Ireland, Canada, London, New York, France, plus annual East Coast tours of Oz.
Their Muse, is original magical roots, blues-cruise, funky-folk w soaring harmonies swampy grooves with a splash of surf Rasta reggae "chango".
Fronted by a brilliant and unique male/female combo, she, Ree Liddell, is the elegant waxing dobro, mandolin acoustic guitar and he, Ian Treloar, is the surf dog riding 8 string acoustic-electric. guitar-synth string thingz. Driving the bus is Simon Dewar on drums percussion djembe .
In early 2017 they released the debut album “Home” and had a #1 song “Justa little bit” on the AMRAP Australian charts getting solid airplay nationally.
2019 heralds the release their “epic” album “Postcards from Tomorrow” the culmination of 18 months of the overseas tours and capturing a real global/local essence in their songs. The 3 panel wallet style booklet has been professionally designed and features amazing graphics Unique branded band logo and pics
The album will be released in April/May and will include an 18 track Cd and download card/USB option, via CD baby, Facebook, Youtube Instergram and the bands website and email contacts via Mail Chimp. Radio stations around the country will receive a copy (and download links), such as RRR, PBS, Narooma Byron Bay and a list that
The launch will include 2 Videos, Tommorow (shot in Tilba Tilba) and Front step, as well as snippets of other tracks Window, Broome Time, that will be launched prior as “movie trailer/ teasers” leading up to the release. (these vid clips have all been completed )
The next stage of promotion will be followed by an East Coast Tour from hometown Mornington to Byron Bay, Sydney, Bellingen, Brisbane, Tilba Tilba Beechworth Bright Melbourne Broome Victor Harbour Adelaide Apollo Bay San Remo Maroochydore and all inbetween ! Then in late July thru August the band will embark on a Canadian tour and will include USA west coast and NZ as well

Recent festivals across Oz including Wangarratta Jazz Blues (invite only), Cairns Tablelands Folk festivals, Yakandandah Roots festival, and locally, Mt Eliza Fest and Mornington Main Street.
changoTRee have toured nationaly with shows from hometown Mornington to Byron Bay, Sydney, Bellingen, Brisbane, Tilba Tilba Beechworth Bright Melbourne Broome Victor Harbour Adelaide Apollo Bay San Remo Maroochydore and all inbetween !
