Album Notes
Charisse is best known for writing her deeply romantic filled ballads.
This CD is slightly different where as her romantic ballads now have a more upbeat flavor to them.
Continuing with her smooth writing style the songs are fun, mid tempo with hints of Contemporary Jazz,
R&B and Pop.
Charisse has definitely expanded her songwriting skills by not only writing, and performing all of the songs,
but by playing every instrument that you hear.
This Cd is a feel good compilation of timeless music for everybody.
If you love good music, you will love this CD.

5-Star FABulous
It takes an incredible talent to not only write these amazing songs, but to deliver them with a smooth, sultry voice that is the Charisse we know and love. New dance tune is awesome...keep those coming. Great versatility as a writer.

Charisse Just Keeps Getting Better With Time
I Just listened to Charisse's CD and I am very hard-pressed to pick a favorite song. Unlike her other CDs "The Good Life " offers a variety of music that is sure to appeal to even the most discerning music critic. From the cute "Ooh Ooh" which made me want to break into a 1950's tap dance to the funky rhythm of"Dance With Me" which had me dancing in my chair to the hauntingly beautiful "The Silence" written by Her brother Tim Davis. Kenny G could most certainly put his signature stamp on this one. Can't you just hear him playing this song right now? I was hooked from the first note of this stellar musical accomplishment. I have known Charisse for over 20 years and know and love ALL of her music. She is an extremely gifted singer/songwriter with the talent to compete with the best in the industry and remain relevant. I wish her all the best on her musical journey to true and well-deserved success. I love you always and forever Charisse. Continued success.

The "Love" Album
I loved the music on this CD. The songs were happy/sad/hopeful and reflected real life "love" issues, including requited and unrequited love. Some of the songs make you want to move, others are more reflective. Because of Charisse's clear, crisp voice, you can understand all the words. My favorites were "The Rain," "Taking My Time," and "Maybe This Time." Also liked the mellow bonus track composed by Tim Davis. Charisse has truly shown her multiple talents in writing, producing, arranging and performing this wonderful variety of creative melodies and it's just a matter of time before she gets the recognition she deserves. This CD is well worth the cost.
