Album Notes
About Chuck Arrington

Surrounded by great recording artists such as Brian McKnight, Take 6, Virtue and Chris Willis at a small Christian College in Huntsville, Alabama, you would think Chuck Arrington would have developed his talent for music much sooner. Yet this amazing talent didn’t start singing until years after college. Now as he’s releasing his second recording, "I’m Gonna Praise You", Arrington has really begun to spread his wings. This is just a prelude of what’s to come for this gospel star on the rise.

Since the release of his first independent effort, "Cover Me", Arrington has expanded his ministry reach thanks to his unwavering commitment to always giving God the best of him through cross-generational and inspiring gospel music. "Cover Me" was released quietly but set the pace for the singer’s smooth and soulful brand of praise. The disc generated a church favorite "God and God Alone", and the title cut "Cover Me".

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Arrington did not grow up singing. It was not until 1989 that Arrington realized the gift God gave him. Arrington was singing along with a song he was listening to when his father realized his son’s amazing voice. With much encouragement, he sang his first public duet for a church service the following weekend and the rest is history! From that moment, he knew that his prayers had been answered and his life’s work was not to be the practice of law (as his parents often hinted), rather it was to introduce the children of the Most High God to the Kingdom of Christ through song. “This gift of God has been not only a responsibility but a huge blessing in my life,” says Arrington. He’s been traveling all over the country and abroad singing about the goodness of God.

This year, Arrington completed his second album, "I’m Gonna Praise You" and there is no doubt-- this is his best work to date! “This is an album that’s been made to uplift and direct God’s kids both upward and Heavenward in the same breath,” said Arrington. “It is some of the best writing, singing and musicianship I have experienced in a very long time.”

For this project he sought the professional guidance of producers Shelton Morgan and E. Reginald Reid II. Both Morgan and Reid have worked in different capacities with a list of who’s who in the gospel music industry such as BeBe Winans, CeCe Winans, Take 6, Hezekiah Walker, Fred Hammond and the list goes on. Morgan says of his experience working with Arrington, “Chuck was an absolute joy. His spirit is what all artists should aspire to. The title track I'm Gonna Praise You truly encapsulates the desires of his heart.” From the first track to the last, I’m Gonna Praise You is an anointed move of God that will break strongholds, uplift the downtrodden, and soothe & comfort the troubled soul!

Arrington and his wife of 12 years Simone are the extremely proud parents of two children, Charles, III and Rebecca! “My desire for the rest of this life is to continue in my walk with Christ and to see my music ministry touching and inviting, those who may not know Christ to get to know Him,” said Arrington. “At the same time I also want to encourage those who are already in relationship with Him, to go deeper and reach higher!”
