Album Notes
Seascapes is a unique collaboration between Welsh guitarist / composer / producer Charlie Goodall and Danish vocalist Therese Harris Buus Nielsen. Together they produce an emotional torrent of stunning beauty. Swirling soundscapes, soaring guitars combining with pure, at times operatic and amazingly beautiful vocals producing a musical experience that transports to distant lands of longing and hope.
For example the extended track 'Dawn Chorus: Rebirth' is a musical journey in 3 sections all linked by the sea - 1st section: early love and innocence, 2nd section: lost love / disillusionment, 3rd section: hope that all we have truly loved will return.
Here are some reviews: 'Therese has a beautiful voice and the music is just wonderful - I can hear all sorts of genres combined in that one piece, from the ethereal, almost New Age through Classical and Rock (love that guitar) to contemporary Opera'
' me it contains elements of Classical, Celtic, it's a bit rocky in places, and what I suppose would be called 'mood' music. It is relaxing to listen to yet has a life and vibrancy which makes it uplifting at the same time'
' the sublime combination of Charlie's clear, delicately woven and moving musicality, and Therese's divine evocative voice, feels as though pre-matched on a higher plane'

Charlie Goodall was the lead guitarist and singer in early progressive rock bands such as Children and Rohan with early Genesis and Pink Floyd influences.
He appeared on two albums by Pererin in the 80s and their first album 'Haul Ar Yr Eira' was reviewed as:
'Easily one of the most exciting psychedelic folk-rock albums from the UK, it's really a big shock to see a group like Pererin create an album that's every bit as good as the best Fairport and Steeleye'.
The second album 'Teithgan' was reviewed as 'Definitely one of the best albums of the genre'.
Later came the progressive rock of Rohan in the 80s and 90s, described as 'early Genesis meets U2!'
His most recent live appearances as a guitarist were with the popular and well respected Celtic Rock band Coast in 2010-11.
Other musical collaborations and production work included Duffy, Elin Fflur, Carlotta, Mojo, Moniars, 4 Yn Y Bar, Martin Newman, Dino, Catraeth and Paul Eastham.
He has also worked over the years as a tv/film composer.

Therese Harris Buus Nielsen studied opera and classical singing in Copenhagen, her home town. She is diverse in her musical and vocal experience; also encompassing jazz, contemporary experimental pop and choral work.

Hi Charlie, as modern life tends to have it, I only now had (or rather, took) the time to carefully listen to the album... It's as gorgeous as I was expecting it to be. Yes, making music as well crafted as this is time-consuming - it is obviously a labor of love. Congratulations on a truly beautiful album!
