ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
As I began writing this collection of songs, I wanted to create a series of postcards that would capture and celebrate simple moments in time. My hope was to articulate some of the many places I have been throughout my life in a language of my own. From the old man on the sidewalk outside my window here in Cleveland, to the memory of my brother and sisters racing around the big porch of my grandparents' house in Pennsylvania, I hope to give you an opportunity to share these moments as they continue to live on in my mind.
The original recordings are just as I perform them. The accompanying instruments and vocals were all carefully considered on a song by song basis to provide simple yet robust acoustic arrangements to musically illustrate these memories. I am beyond grateful to the musicians who made these contributions. It was a joy to share these songs with them, and I am glad that you have joined us on our journey. All aboard!
