ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This album was a labor of love, recorded over many years on successive visits to LA. Recorded at Wallyphonic Studios in the foothills of the Pasadena mountian range, it seemed only right to make The Foothill Sessions a showcase for some of California's finest western swing, country and rockabilly musicians. Charlie had a ball recording with the rare talents of TK Smith, Jeremy (JW) Wakefiield, Dave Stuckey, Wally Hersom, Bobby Furgo and Carl Sonny Leyland, and the result is a Western-style masterpiece. Guitar World Online summs up well as "a mix of rockabilly and rollicking country tunes."
