ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Charmas' simple folk version of this tune includes Elise MacGregor Ferrell playing Great Highland Bagpipes, Jim Powell on bouzouki, and Stephen Vahle on cajon.
Bagpipers are known to vary in their manner of performing Flowers of the Forest for private ceremonies. This version derives from the tune's most common presentation at military funerals.
It is dedicated to, and performed in memory of, Matthew Mays Johnston (Dec.19,1965 - Sept. 5, 2017).
