ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Group H.U.G.S. is a musical documentary which celebrates as well as educates the listener about the Black Music experience in America. It is performed and narrated by artist and songwriter Chäs Bronxson. The project utilizes quotes from dozens of popular artists in America to offer an honest perspective of the music business based on historical events that transpired in America's entertainment industry. Sprinkled throughout the project are audible quotes by Chuck D., James Mtume, Little Richard, Pat Boone, Lou Rawls, James Brown, The Righteous Brothers, Bob Law, Jocko Henderson and several other disc jockeys and luminaries, tightly woven together to give an account of a musical journey that isn't often talked about. 100% of the proceeds from the song 'Group H.U.G.S.' will be given to charitable organizations designated to assist R&B artists from the past that are in need of financial assistance.
