Album Notes
“Remember red light parties?” asks RnB singer Chazz Dixon, who is in the studio once again for his upcoming album, Love’s Calling.

Chazz describes his music as “the kind of soul AM radio used to play, the kind that is not heard much anymore from the singers and songwriters today.” His brand of music revisits the times of red light parties, with songs “to get happy on, sing out loud to, cuddle with someone special or listen solo to without being ashamed of what’s being sung.”

Chazz has collaborated with producer DJ Payday/Audioaddix for this album. They have written and recorded over 30 songs and have thoroughly picked the final 14 songs. They have gone through personal listening sessions to choose the songs that people would relate to and touch their hearts. Chazz believes that great music is something that people would want to hear, sing with, dance to, and leave an impression in their lives. Through his music, he hopes to have people retreat to the sweet sound of Young America. His music is a blend of Motown with a contemporary flavor, which is a little retro, a little fresh and 100% Chazz Dixon.

His first video, for this CD, Get It, was released October, with a world premiere last November, through Chris Rizik and Soultracks magazine. His second video, Say Alright, is set to be released within a month after the launch of his forthcoming album.
