Album Notes
this is a special collection put together over the years of richard murrey's writing and recording in the studio. sometimes a song just needs another point of view, a different twist, an angle from the feminine side of life. this is where the guest vocalists on this project stepped up to make a song something more than special... and an inspiration to the guys playing the tracks. once again, steven cooper produced. writer richard murrey was joined in the writing of the second cut, "wonderin'" with his wife sheila. there's more where this came from... a short description of the tunes on this collection:

"one of these nights"... a bluesy offering warning the guy to be careful because one night she won't be there for him after he's come home from a night on the town... sound familiar?

"wonderin'"... what he might really be like next to her? just wonderin'.

"a little bit naughty"... a lady who's refined, educated, formal, but yet... there's a little streak of naughty in her too! you know some ladies like that right?

"i've lost what she just found"... title says it all... the realization that she's no longer the love of his life.

"take it back baby"... tells us he changes his mind, he knows he screwed up, he wants to come home and she struggles with what to do.

"grandma & the aliens"... the night they came, they liked grandma's cooking, they took her on a ride... they'll bring her back, eventually.

"always a part of me"... this tune about a lost love and how some emotions will never be the same.

"your jeans look good tonight"... she's missed this guy, she likes how he moves and what he can do for her, so she's focused on the prize.

"his place"... she went away and left him, the home and happiness, but why? do we ever figure out why she never called? a mystery.

"a little bit redneck"... they say opposites attract... about her redneck man, that she's still in love with.

"our next kiss"... on the verge of splitting, letting it all go, but hey, let's try falling back in love with the next kiss? it might work.

"thinkin' like a woman"... can a man be trained to do certain things? he can but not entirely which is a good thing for her! we all know who's trained now don't we?

"countin' the stars til morning"... about going out to the edge of town with her lover man and countin' the stars til the morning finds them.

"call me"... call her when he's tired of being used and tricked into situations just to be hurt time and time again... her number's in the book.

"i ain't fallin' in love"... she's not going to fall for anyone else... not until he comes around... patience is such a virtue huh?

"your magic"... about the magic of true love and how sometimes, it's just too hard to explain in words.

I noticed that Sheena Easton was performing at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival in Orlando FL October 8th, 2007 and was thinking it would be cool if she had this tune to perform! This song is the sweetest song!

We love Countin the Stars Til Morning and Your Magic
Lookinout4u has too much time on her hands but we agree with her, and we love countin the stars and your magic, want to use in our wedding - we're buying!

Great job, lots of songs here for the ladies!
I just love so many of these songs, Wonderin stands out as a flat out hit! Should be! Maybe if Gretchen Wilson would sing it! Hmmm. I like the blues of "one of these nights" any woman who’s been thinking about leaving her man would want to hear this. "a little bit naughty" Shania Twain should sing this or change of pace for someone like Celine Dion. Wow that would be cool. "i've lost what she just found" as the band says this is a heartfelt song. Does a guy write these songs? Wow! He’s really looking at this stuff from we ladies point of view. "take it back baby" should be the counter song to the one that Rob Thomas did about If You’re Gone, this one is from the woman’s side. "grandma & the aliens" is cute and makes me think that if the man doesn’t straighten up then grandma would rather be off with the aliens then putting up with his crap. "always a part of me" is a tear jerker! "your jeans look good tonight” I think this one is a great little two-step boogie song! C’mon all you dancers out there, you need this CD if for nothing else, just for this song! It should be playing on the FM dial! Great fiddle on it too. "his place" nice opening guitar licks, this is a story lady, this song is telling a story, does your man spend on his time on his corvette? This is another very thought provoking tune, love lost. "a little bit redneck" once again, one that Gretchen should sing! Put it on your next CD Gretchen! "our next kiss" nice and easy, think Faith Hill or Reba on this one. "thinkin' like a woman" another possibility for Shania Twain, Gretchen or Reba, wow! This song deserves to be on some big stars next CD. "countin' the stars til morning" we’ve all had nights like this. "call me" we’ve all felt this way. Nice work here! I love the gal singing this one, once again so many of these would work for Gretchen, I know I keep saying that but if someone hears these who knows her, she really needs to listen to these! "i ain't fallin' in love" country or bit of rockabilly on this one as for the tune, then as for the lyrics, this is all about loving and having it taken away - true statements here! "your magic" true love is magic isn’t it? If you haven’t been there then you just don’t know, think puppy love but times 100!

Loved it!
Don't keep us wonderin guys, do they get together? don't leave us hangin like the sopranos last episode... make of it what we want. we're hangin in missouri...
