-Out of 2,000 bands, Chic Gamine was chosen as one of four must-see acts at SXSW 2012 by Stephen Thompson of NPR.

- Released two albums independently in Canada. The first, self-titled, released in 2008 garnered a Juno Award for Album of the Year in the Roots category. The second album, City City, released in 2010, was nominated for the same award.

-Performed on A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor October 13th, 2012.

- Chosen by CBC French Radio as one of their seven musical revelations of 2009-2010.

- Performed multiple times at official Olympic events during the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games.

- Performed before Her Royal Highness, Queen Elizabeth the Second of England in 2010.

-After performing in a lineup with Mavis Staples, Ms. Staples complimented Chic Gamine, saying their performance and sound reminded her of her own family, The Staple Singers.
