Album Notes
Chico Mario is a producer and musician as well and sometimes he is so terribly possessed by his creativity that his head is spinning. Like dancing in a circle he feels like driven through musical excursions, creating dreams of life and islands of dreams. "Isle of My Dreams" is ' an instrumental mirror of his work showing all the stylistic creations of easy Listening, R&B, pop, soul, electro up to jazz and even an easy breeze of Ragga. - Godspeed!

About Chico Mario : When Chico Mario was a kid, his mom would always give him the chance to fill-up a row of numbers when she plays the weekly lottery. Though he still didn't know the numbers at the age of 3, he still could recognize and compare them when he saw the numbers. One day, his mom didn't get the chance to submit the lottery coupon for theweek, but then it had to happen, that exactly 4 of the numbers in their coupon appeared for that week. Mario and his mom watched the drawing of the numbers on TV, with their eyes getting bigger, while seeing their numbers being drawn... the prize of course, did not apply for them and little Mario didn't understand anything about it. His mom tried to find a way on how to explain it all to him without breaking his heart because Mario wished a guitar for his upcoming 4th birthday. He was already excited about it, thinking that they got lucky winning the lottery with their 4 numbers. A few weeks later, he celebrated his birthday and guess what? His mom still got him a guitar as a present. His mom told him about the story years later and Mario had to find out, that his mom still bought the guitar for him under financially difficult circumstances, during that time. She therefore is the one responsible for Mario's success with his productions, especially the creation of his album Chico Mario Isle Of My Dreams, which now delights his listeners. His first guitar was the beginning of his musical development. It gave him the chance to explore music and discover his passion for his later destiny - making music. Chico Mario has experimented with different styles of World Music in his music career, which you can hear in his diverse productions and compositions. He collaborated with many artists worldwide in some of his compositions such as, Joky One (Germany) , Macho Perez (Cuba) , Mister Lino (Cameroon) , Eleeza (Germany) , Ignazio Russo (Italy) and Warren C. ("The Preacherman") (USA). We have uploaded a sample of his album Chico Mario - Isle Of My Dreams, which is already out in the stores and also available at his homepage . For all you who love Latin/Electro music with a breeze of Jazz... you gotta check it out!
