Album Notes
We hope you enjoy this album of traditional Marian hymns, motets, and chants. For the first time, we have included singers from one our children’s choirs on this CD: the St. Cecilia Girls Choir. May you find their sweet voices uplifting and a testament to their innocent faith.
Mater Dei Parish in Irving, TX, the FSSP’s largest apostolate in America, is embarking upon a campaign to build a larger church for our fast growing community. This album is our choir’s humble prayer that Our Lady may aid us in raising the money necessary to build a beautiful church where we can continue to glorify her Son, and be a beacon of light to the world.
Infant Jesus of Prague, have mercy on us, and aid us.
Mater Dei, ora pro nobis!

Mater Dei Parish
The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter (FSSP) was founded in 1988 by Pope St. John Paul II. Its first apostolate in North America was established in Dallas, Texas, in June of 1991, the Mater Dei Latin Mass Community. We were established as Mater Dei Parish in Irving, TX, in 2010, by Bishop Kevin Farrell.
Since becoming a parish, our community has grown quickly, and is now the largest parish of the FSSP in North America. This August 2017, our parish has officially embarked upon a capital campaign to build a new church that can seat 800-900 people, with a large choir loft to accommodate our flourishing choir program. We also hope to raise enough funds for a more adequate rectory, & expanded community space.
We place our efforts under the specific intercession of the Infant Jesus of Prague, and Mary, Mother of God.

The Choral Program at Mater Dei
The Choirs of Mater Dei Parish have grown alongside the community, and continue to have new developments. All our choirs are comprised solely of volunteer singers, who practice the Catholic faith. There are men and women chant scholas, 2 adult choirs to provide the best offering of choral music on Sundays and feast days, and an expanding children/youth choir program with 70+ involved, from ages 6 through 18: St. Gregory boys choir (boys 7-13) Schola Augustini (boys 14-18), St. Cecilia girls choir (girls 6-10), & St. Maria Goretti Choir (girls 11-18).
We are embarking presently on an effort to build a true Men and Boys Choir for the parish, directed by Mr. M. Chase Fowler.
