ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
For his fourth solo recording, A Thousand Hands (2014), Chris Rosser’s songwriting takes on a more personal nature. Despite having travelled the globe in the eight years since his last CD release, this new collection of songs focuses more on family and home life. “Atlanta” describes a family trip to see his grandmother’s hometown in Atlanta, Texas. “Love With No Words” is a song about his twelve year old son with autism. “More In Love” was written for his wife on their anniversary. The music is primarily a solo affair, with Rosser playing nearly all of the instruments himself, except for the addition of long-time collaborator River Guerguerian on percussion, and his wife Lynn Morgan Rosser singing harmonies. Included is an updated version of his song “Make A Wish” which was featured on an episode of the hit TLC show “Jon & Kate + 8” seen by 12 million viewers.
