Album Notes
Chrissy Gardner is a composer, singer and pianist. She has recorded two full length original contemporary albums, “Alabaster Room” (2009) and “Waxwing” (2016) featuring world renowned musicians Tony Levin, Joe Vitale, Pete Huttlinger, Abigail Zsiga, Robert Messore and Peter Stroud. She is a founding member of A Broken Umbrella Theater for whom she composed five theatrical works: Short Story By A Tree, iMarvel, Head Over Wheels, The Library Project, Freewheelers which debuted at the International Festival of Arts and Ideas in New Haven. Chrissy has written, arranged, produced and engineered music for industrials, promo videos and short films including “Visual Literacy” (produced with the Yale Center for British Art) and “Love For Passion”. On the radio, Chrissy has appeared as a guest on "Profiles in Folk" with Steve Winters (airing on NPR affiliate WSHU) and "Where We Live" with John Dankosky (WNPR). Chrissy performs weekly at concert halls, clubs and piano bars. In her home studio in New Haven, she teaches private piano lessons to awesome young musicians. Chrissy lives in New Haven, CT with her wildly amazing daughter, Luciana, and two cats, Nigel and Peter.
