ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Bob Christensen is a singer/songwriter with a voice like an old comfortable shoe, and an entertainer who makes everyone feel right at home. Bob's new record is a collection of great songs written by Bob and Mark Dodge and seven other songwriters with a gift for storytelling.

Good production, great songs, well sung.

It's 99% twang-free country-folk-rock, and includes songs by Tom Paxton, Ian Tyson, John Sebastian, and The Amazing Rhythm Aces mixed in with homegrown tunes about small towns, lost loves, and sweet guitars. Country blues with a rock edge and an introspective perspective.

Waylon Jennings meets Tom Rush at Hoyt Axton's house.
