Christiana had dreamt of being a singer from a young age. Like most singers and musicians, she got her start singing in church and small talent shows in her hometown of Warrenton, Virginia. She started writing when she was in the second grade. Simple songs at first with a few gem lines sprinkled throughout her early works. At age 16, her supportive parents purchased her first guitar. It was love at first sight. It also gave her new inspiration and a new songwriting focus. The picture finally came together after she had the guitar for a year. She began performing all original music at local coffeehouses and open mics in the northern Virginia area. She released her first project, a 5 song EP in early 2009. Her single “Familiar Crossroads” received Honorable Mention in the Mid Atlantic Song Contest in late 2009. She can be seen these days playing at quite a few local venues in the Northern Virginia, DC and Maryland area. Most recent venues include Jammin Java, Bangkok Blues, Ebenezers, Brewers Alley, Frederick Coffee Company. Stay tuned for her upcoming EP titled “Still a Princess” to be release late summer 2011.
