ABOUT THIS ALBUM


Album Notes
Christina Georgiou (b. 1980) is an award-winning film composer (Best Soundtrack Award at the Monaco Film Festival 2008), sound designer and screenwriter, Member of the European Film Academy since 2012.

Christina studied music in London (BMus, MA, PhD), receiving, among others, three performance awards from major music festivals in London and Brussels. She has performed in the U.K., Hungary (as piano soloist, with the Vass Lajos Orchestra), France, Belgium, Greece and Cyprus.

Her portfolio so far includes music for several features and short films, music for TV series, a large variety of commercial jingles, instrumentals, songs in various genres and languages, music for the stage and for dance performances, as well as music and sound design for vairous multimedia projects.

This CD features a selection of works composed in 2015. Special thanks go to George Solonos for his guitarwork, vocals and mixing in selected tracks, to Pavlos Gregoras for his impeccable vocals for the first and last track, and to Christos Pechlivanis for his keyboard improvisation in the opening track.
