A Kawai Piano Artist, Christine Brown is a an award-winning pianist and composer of contemporary classical solo piano. Christine has an extensive catalog of recorded albums and sheet music. Her music is a unique blend of contemporary, new age and classical sounds, with a graceful touch is that is gentle, yet powerful. With the piano, Christine paints a colorful landscape with thoughtful musical interpretations of life's emotions and experiences. Since the young age of three, she has been fascinated by the piano. Christine's childhood classical training is evident in her melodic and thematic compositions, while rich harmonies reflect her background in accompanying various choral groups. From Chopin to Joplin, her influences were varied and many, and she also enjoyed creating her own arrangements of popular songs. While earning a business degree at the University of Colorado Boulder, Christine was inspired by George Winston's new age genre of solo piano, yet the piano remained only a hobby for many years. Christine rediscovered her passion for the piano, immersing herself in her music after the loss of her mother in 1990. She began composing, using the piano to voice her emotions, releasing heartfelt compositions that captured listeners.

Christine has composed award-winning original solo piano music, as well as arranged several holiday, pop and children’s albums. Her unique arrangements of classic cover songs on the album ”Seamless”, was awarded “Best Pop/Rock Piano Album 2016” by Blending pop songs while weaving in classical and new age pieces, Christine creates a sophisticated and seamless musical tapestry with clever medleys of timeless melodies. Her original music on "Souvenirs", was awarded "Best Piano Album of the Year 2014" by Whisperings Solo Piano Radio. She has also composed unique arrangements of Christmas music and collections of popular children's music, “Childhood” (2004) and “Childhood II” (2011). Previous original piano CDs, "The Wishing Well" (2011) and "Promise" (2009), were also nominated for WSPR Album of the Year. Christine’s highly regarded holiday CD, "A Classic Christmas” (2012), “Ascend” (2017), “Seamless” and ”Souvenirs" were named on's "Favorites List." Her music is played worldwide, charting high on the ZMR New Age radio charts. In 2014, Christine was also endorsed by Kawai Pianos as a distinguished Kawai Artist.
