ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Earthsongs is Christopher's fourth album, a collection of songs that all connect in some way to our planet and our experience of living on it. Some of the songs take you to a beautiful place (Garden in the Sky takes you into space to see Earth from above; The First Day of Summer takes you to the beach; Halcyon Day to a farm on a lovely day in late summer; Sweet Dream Bay onto a sailboat in the Caribbean). Other songs capture the fury of Mother Nature unleashed (Heavy Weather); the sorrow of losing someone you love (Snow Moon); the experience of grace when caught up in our planet's beauty (The Meaning of Grace); and the CD closes with a very funny song about a restaurant that serves insects for dinner. It's a great collection of songs about our home and our lives, beautifully produced with a terrific band. Guaranteed to give you second thoughts about moving to Mars!
