Album Notes
Christopher Zerbe is a singer/songwriter producer/engineer and multi-instrumentalist with a passion for pop music who believes the art of crafting pop songs is a timeless endeavor. Having grown up around such greats as The Raspberries, Fleetwood Mac, Brian Wilson, Elton John, and countless others, years of sonic impressions has left an indelible stamp on Christopher's musical instinct that plays into his writing and production styles today.

Christopher originally began studying piano at the age of nine but later changed his focus to guitar. Throughout his childhood and young adult-hood, Christopher played in several band projects in California before moving to the city of Los Angeles to study acoustics and audio engineering. After ten years on the LA circuit, Christopher moved to Santa Barbara with his then band which eventually disbanded there a few years later. "I wasn't sure what to do next so began writing songs alone, and haven't stopped since".

In 2000, Christopher released his first self-titled CD on which he had to wear all hats. "That was a computer, new software system, new learning curve, and only myself to lean on". In 2006, Christopher followed up in kind with "Those Paris Nights", a thematic album with a linear storyline like various concept records often made in the '70's. Christopher's third album "Calling All Radios" is a collective piece showcasing musical styles from pop rock and acoustic rock to singer-songwriter acoustic styles.

And now, "Melodies + Harmonies & Jangly Guitars" is a salute to its title and consists of 12 original tracks conceived in Montmartre Paris France and 3 cover songs: The Beach Boys' "Angel Come Home" (Carl Wilson/G. Cushing-Murray), Barbara Dickson's "Run Like The Wind" (Mike Batt), and Big Star's "September Gurlz" (Alex Chilton) Recorded at The Widget Factory in Santa Barbara, CA. , "Melodies + Harmonies & Jangly Guitars" is available on Amazon, CD Baby, and iTunes and at
