Album Notes
Devoting his music to church music ministry and fundraising for churches and charities, Chuck's original songs continue to be used for worship services, retreats, and personal reflection. He has been involved in parishes in various locations in Canada, using his vocal and acoustic guitar talents in praise and concerts. All profits from his music (both public performances and CD sales) go to various charities, affiliated through churches. His latest CD, "Bethlehem Morn" is a collection of nine original songs and four traditional pieces.
Although acoustic, his music spans boundaries from quiet and contemplative, to rousing and inspirational.
His past experiences stretch from playing in 'bar bands' and as a solo act in pubs and clubs some 25 years ago to now playing exclusively in church or church-related settings.
His music settles nerves, gives pause for reflection on the mysteries of God, and is based on the Christian message.

This is excellent--great music for the holiday season.

A unique blend of original and contemporary music. Gives a whole different pers
A wonderful selection of contemporary music mixed with the unique style of the artist's original pieces. The title track Bethlehem Morn gives a real insight into how Joseph may have felt. The same is true of A Shepherd Like Me looking at the historical significance of the angels appearing to lowly shepherds. Easy and refreshing to listen to this CD is well put together and brings the true message and meaning of Christmas to the world.

Wonderful inspirational pieces of work
This CD creates a faith-filled experience from beginning to end. The original pieces make you feel as if you were
actually in Bethlehem on that morning. Each song tells a
story in itself but the entire CD is a testament to what
we are all about as Christians. It makes any commercialism
of the Christmas season seem very frivilous and totally
unnecessary as we all refocus on the reason for the season!

...captures the spirit of Advent hope and Christmas joy.
Chuck's lyrics capture the spirit of Advent hopes and Christmas joy. The title track looks at the miracle of Christmas from the perspective of Joseph. Let Chuck's soothing and mellow original compositions help you celebrate this special season.

The best new Christmas song I've heard in a long time...
The whole CD is good, but I was stopped in my tracks by the title cut "Bethlehem Morn". This is honestly the best new Christmas song I've heard in a long time. Beautifully simple, yet so profound.

Wonderfully Inspiring bringing out the spirit and meaning of Christmas
I found this CD to be wonderfully inspiring. It is the type of music for which you can just close your eyes and allow yourself to drink in the images of Christmas that it evokes. To me, it truly brings out the true spirit and meaning of Christmas.

Beautiful music, beautiful voice!
Great sound! Peaceful and meaningful!
