Album Notes
"The Adventures of Cindy Lou":

"Thank you for your interest!
there is so much to share...
of all the little friends I've made
here and there and everywhere...
I write songs for children
that I play on my guitar
and create a safety circle
to welcome them from near and far...
and we sing together, dance around,
and dip into the well...
for a story with a message
that a turtle helps to tell...
And we take turns as leaders
like when we're thirsty as can be..
suddenly we're teapots of extraordinary tea!
'Cause music brings us closer
as we dance and sing and play...
and share about the things we do
in each and every day...
and make new friends, and laugh! and learn
how we can get along
a little better in the world
and live life like a song*

Colored pencil drawing by Elizabeth Kate Sammo, Ithaca, New York (at the age of 5)

"Spirit Song" - first performed at the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies in Rhinebeck, New York for the "big kids"

"Me and My Imagination" - take a magic carpet ride and have lunch with a whale or two, (they better like bean sprouts and tofu, with a little bit of seaweed sprinkled through!)

"My Own Special Way" - a song about doing things in your very own special way...hooray!

"Turtle Talk" - A song performed with puppets...wise old Owl teaches Turtle a thing or two about using his head...

"Dog Heaven" - a TRUE story about the wonderful pets in our you have wonderful pets in your lives too? I bet you do...

"Rain Makes Applesauce" - the Caldecott award-winning picture book put to music...remember: "you're just talkin' silly talk"

More, more, more!!! Here's just a sample of what you can expect from the Adventures of Cindy Lou cd.
