Album Notes
Described as a "melodically gifted songstress with a big future," Australian singer/songwriter Claire Wyndham has been turning heads since her first public performance in 2002. Within twelve months she had played showcases at AustraliaÕs premier music venue, "The Basement," performed at the East Coast Blues and Roots Festival along with the likes of Ben Harper, Jack Johnson and Kasey Chambers, had a song included on the soundtrack of Aussie surf film "Liquid Bridge," and professionally recorded five of her songs with producer Chris Gray. Not bad Ð this is one young lady who doesn't muck around.

In 2004, "Perfect," one of the songs recorded with Gray, reached the finals of the Jaxter Artist Awards, as well as charting on numerous music websites around the world. She also released a radio single in 2005, "Here was Blue" to NSW radio, which over 50 stations picked up and played on high rotation. Most recently, Claire had two songs nominated for Female Singer/Songwriter of the Year at the 2006 Los Angeles Music Awards, and she is receiving strong rotation on internet radio all over the world.

2006 was a busy year for Claire with the recent completion of her debut album. The album features a full production of 13 tracks, all written by Claire herself and a stellar cast of session musicians who have played with some of Australia's best artists and bands. Claire will be launching the album and The Basement with her full band on 24th April 2007.

One listen to this girl and you know she's got something to say. Her songs stay in your head long after the first listen. Her melodies are as catchy as pop can get; her voice angelic enough to get everybody's attention and her lyrics deep enough to evoke thought in the most cynical of listeners.

Now, on the eve of her first official release, Claire has come along way since that first performance. With an undeniable stage presence and incredibly comfortable in front of any type of audience, she's ready to do whatever it takes to follow her passion; she's just returned from the USA where she was the first Australian artist ever to be booked on The Rock Boat along with artists such as Emerson Hart (Tonic), Keith Kane (Vertical Horizon), Josh Kelley, Collective Soul and Sister Hazel.

Claire doesn't stand out because sheÕs trying to be something sheÕs not. She stands out because sheÕs honest. She sings the truth and her listeners relate to that. As Claire sings in her song "Here was Blue," 'There was hurt, there was pain, there was pleasure, there was rain, there was you,' At times she's heartbroken, at times she's ecstatic. And aren't we all?

Easy listening, lyrically capturing. I hope we hear alot more from this artist. Sensational debut from the opening chords through to the final track. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Wonderful Wyndham!!!
Being a BIG fan of Michelle Branch, it is hardly surprising that I LOVE this album - this superb piece of work from Claire Wyndham took my breathe away. Blessed with a strong yet soft and gentle voice similar to that of the lovely Michelle, Claire delivers 13 fabulous tracks each one a hit in their own right. Particular favourites for me are ‘Sooner or Later’, ‘Walking Away’ and ‘Lazy Side of Crazy’, yet all the songs are great, a perfect selection of pop ballads and more uptempo feel good
Numbers – with a balance that is just right. This album offers a beautiful collection of catchy, well written, meaningful songs sung by a very talented lady, I hope more work from this Ozzy songstress will emerge very soon.

The Album we have all been waiting for. Just Divine.
Lazy Side of Crazy is a fine example of clever songwriting performed by a superb vocalist with wicked musicians. With songs such as the title track Lazy Side of Crazy and Sooner or Later which will have you feet moving by themselves to the thought provoking Show Me. All 13 tracks are where the surprises keep coming. Songs for everyone. Enjoy I know I am.

Claire's voice is sweet yet powerful. The songs will pull you in and won't let you out. This is a truly addictive album, but the good kind of addiction.

Fantastic album
Sydney singer songwriter Claire Wyndham has released her album “Lazy Side Of Crazy” and it is a fine example of clever songwriting performed by a superb vocalist with terrific power pop tunes. This musician has all the songs and the great hooks that rival anything by the likes of Michelle Branch or any other US/European pop princess can deliver. I am forever happy that those good folk at CD Baby said listen to this and with songs such as the title track ‘Lazy Side of Crazy’ and ‘Sooner or Later’ to the thought provoking ‘Show Me’ - I was sold. What really bites though is this girl is from Australia and Americans have to tell me how good she is. Why won’t our industry support talent like this. For “Lazy Side Of Crazy” is a great album full of melodic songs and lyrical surprises that keep coming and no filler either. Claire Wyndham is definitely worth tracking down live or on CD. Listen to what we are missing.
