ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Our fourth release, featuring a collection of all original songs written by band members Pat McIntyre and Peter McKee, including five never before released tracks.

Clallam County formed in 1980 as a collaboration between Pat McIntyre and Peter McKee, when Peter was living in Port Angeles, Washington, the county seat of Clallam County, WA. Shortly thereafter, Peter's wife, Judy Oerkvitz, joined the duo, as did Pat's wife, Kristi. In 1990, Jim Douglas joined the band on upright bass.

Our group's musical influences include: Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, The Kingston Trio, The Limeliters, Bob Dylan; Peter, Paul & Mary, Tom Paxton, John Prine, and more. This is the band's fifth album and contains all original compositions, some of which have never before been released. The previous four albums are available offline only, through Clallam County directly.

Clallam County has performed at the Seattle Folklife Festival since 1982, with few missed years, and also performs regularly at Seattle area farmer's markets, fundraising events for "worthy causes," house parties, and also just sings for the fun!

Groupie 3

Great versionof Judy's Song!!
I've followed this group for quite a while now. Downloading from cdbaby really beats swapping bootlegs with other groupies. How can you lose with a group that claims The Limeliters as an influence?
