ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I have to thank Thurston for drawing me back into active playing last June at Naropa. I've kept my chops up for years by playing with records etc, but hadn't collaborated with a living human in decades. That afternoon at Naropa made me realize just how much I've missed it, that interchange most high. I knew that Thurston and I had some commonality in the free jazz literature, so no worries or preliminaries, we just set up and went right at it. Such a fresh breeze of sounds clearing out the conceptual cobwebs.
Don't think! Blow! — Clark Coolidge
