This Is the Moment

by Claude-Eric

This album is comprised of songs I grew up with, some of them dated from the 1930's! So we've rearranged and brought them to more actual flavors. I am very happy with the results.

Album Notes
The thought of recording a new Cd had been 'haunting' me for some time now. On this recording, I have gathered the requests of spectators attending my shows over the years, a few of my favorites and added a song that was new to me: "Cry To Me"
When I brought all the selections to the studio the first time, Jean Garneau asked me how I wanted this to all be done and I answered: "Well these are the songs, we can keep them the way they already are... or we can actualize and have fun with them!" He listened and then got to work! This is the result of a fun union between my voice and musical background mixed in with his way of hearing/seeing things. I quite enjoyed working with Jean Garneau at Vilain Studio. There might be a sequel...
