Album Notes
Jefferey and Jennifer met eachother at the New England Conservatory, Boston, Massachusetts. What happened next was 'magical'. The Steelpan(steeldrum, steel drum, pan) played and the Oboe joined in to create a unique blend of music leaving us both breathless. We knew we had to share this beautiful merge of steel and bamboo. The sound is freeing with nuances of classical, folk, jazz, contemporary, and caribbean 'spice'.

-World Music Listener-

I really enjoyed this 'New' sounding steelpan album!
The cd is great! It is recorded so you can actually hear all the nuances of the steelpan. I wasn't sure how it would sound with the oboe, but amazingly the duo creats such a relaxing mood. I would recommend this cd to anyone who likes the steelpan and enjoys relaxing music. Take a break from the jump-up type music usually associated with the steeldrum. This cd definitely broadens the use of the steelpan. It shows you, yet again, it is a serious instrument worthy of all musical styles. Buy it! You won't be disappointed.

The next level of steeldrum music-Now this is RELAXING & CONTEMPORARY
Did you say you went to the New England Conservatory? This album is great! I'm glad the instrument is being taken seriously. Congrats! By the way, the CD is Awesome! When is the next one coming out? Keep pushing the envelope. Now let me get back to my pina-colada and bubble bath...It's time to relax with 'Phase Blue'.
