ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This is a totally original and creative CD of hymn arrangements, done in an acoustic/vocal style by a very gifted set of siblings in the Pixton family. Instruments used are piano, guitar, tin whistle, and voice, with some tracks instrumental/voice, some purely instrumental, and some a cappella. It has been the project of several years and has been impeccably crafted by Clayton, the producer and engineer (and arranger). Great care was given not only to the arranging and recording of the tracks, but in between tracks there are included musical interludes whose keys and themes tie together the whole album in an original and beautiful way.

One arrangement is by Skye (Nearer, My God, to Thee), one is by Courtney (I\'ll Go Where You Want Me to Go), and the rest are by Clayton. The Pixtons are known for their outstanding musical talent and for the universal appeal of their music (also their good looks). This CD represents perhaps the best CD of hymn arrangements in history to date.

Please put that last statement to the test!
