This Song was inspired by the novel In the Cut written by the author Arlene Brathwaite. The In The Cut theme song is one of the singles from Arlene Brathwaite's Music Meets Literature Project. Mrs. Brathwaite's plight to gain more momentum for her PLAN (Promoting Literacy and Awarness Nationwide) project led her to come up with a innovative way of gaining the interest of young adults and adults to read by bringing her novels to life through music. The Music Meets Literature project invites artist to read Arlene Brathwaite's newest novel and allows them to breath life into the characters through music.
