ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I am known primarily as a producer, recording engineer and photographer. When I began to write songs, I received a lot of encouragement from songwriters I knew and worked with. At first I worked entirely alone playing all the instruments and singing. Some of those early songs can be found on youtube if you search for "The Molas". Over time, I would bring songs to my singer/songwriter friends for critique and sometimes these songs would end up as co-writes. From time to time we would record them in my studio and I would use them as soundtracks for some of the videos I have on www.youtube/foxrunstudio

I decided it was time to take the best of these songs and put them on a CD. I remixed the songs that were already recorded, added production where needed, and recorded some of the newer ones from scratch. The songs on this CD go from the very stripped down to a number of full on folk-rock/americana songs. All told, there are 34 musicians very talented on this compilation.
