Album Notes
Texas native Clint Bullard has performed in Key West since 1998, when Key West Songwriters Festival co-founder and then-manager of the Hog's Breath Saloon, Charlie Bauer, went to Nashville during Fan Fair looking for singer / songwriters to book into his outdoor venue.

Clint was a staff songwriter at Zomba Music at the time, and when Charlie told them he was in the market for a performer for a tropical gig, songplugger Lynn Gann told him Bullard had done a beach gig on South Padre Island, Texas for years. Charlie made the call, and the Hog's stage and Clint just “clicked”.

His first performance at the Hog's Breath was immediately after Key West re-opened following Hurricane Georges. “His music helped lift the spirits of many people [after the hurricane],” Bauer said. “If he raised a tent somewhere in town, he could hold a revival,” Bauer laughed at the time.

Clint has strapped on his guitar at the Hog's Breath Saloon over 1000 times since, and these days plays a three-day-a-week sunset show waterside at the Sunset Tiki Bar at The Galleon Resort. He still maintains a 101-year-old Victorian house in Nashville but currently resides in Key West with his bride, Tricia, and her Siamese cat from hell, Jack Ruby.

He wrote the popular Christmas single, “Merry Christmas from Texas, Y'all”, recorded by Tracy Byrd.
