ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
RILEY LEE (SHAKUHACHI) AND CLIONA MOLINS (HARP)
Cliona and Riley combine their distinguished knowledge of two ancient instruments (the harp and the shakuhachi flute) from distinct cultural backgrounds, to create texturally rich and melodious contemplative instrumental music.

Riley and Cliona have been performing together since 2012 when they played at the inaugural of Sydney’s Sacred Music Festival. They also played for the Manly Arts Festival. In 2018, they created their first EP together inspired by music from Ireland, and original compositions by Cliona Molins. The music was recorded live at the New Church in Roseville by David Armitage and was mixed and mastered at Blue Mountain Sound by Andy Busuttil.
