ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Clock was formed by guitarist Vivian Campbell (Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Dio), drummer Mark Schulman (Pink, Cher, Stevie Nicks, Billy Idol), guitarist Manny Alvarez (Toe), vocalist/keyboardist PJ Smith (Toe) and bassist Mark Browne (Melissa Etheridge) in 1997. Designed to be a fun side project and a musical change from their "day jobs"; the band recorded a demo and started playing live dates around Los Angeles (taking up residency at the now-defunct St. Stephen's Green in Santa Monica). Although the line-up has changed slightly over the years (with the departure of Mark Browne and Manny Alvarez and the addition of bassist Sasha Krivtsov ("Rockstar: Supernova" House Band member) in 1998), the nucleus of the band remains in tact and continues to create harmony driven, guitar based rock 'n roll.

Fantastic!
This was amazing! I loved every track. The band is tight, and you can tell that they've played together for a long time and have a great respect for one another. Here's hoping for many more releases!!

It's true what they say: Clock rocks!!!!!

I LOVE IT!!!
This CD rocks from start to finish! Every single track is great. I had not heard of CLOCK as they don't play anywhere in VA but was looking for projects Sasha Krivtsov (bass player) was involved in and found this awesome band. THAT was my lucky day! I love this CD and haven't listened to anything else since I got it two weeks ago. I highly recommend this CD if you want good tunes to rock to!

Music to travel to, music to walk the dog to...
This CD is on my list of "CDs I want to have buried with me" and songs I want played at muy funeral. It is an amazing mix of fun, soft, rockin' out and lovely melodies. The melodic manner in which these artists meld their talents provides listening that will take you through a day at the beach, a walk in the rain, a tromp around London (or various other English towns whilst peregrinating - that was for you, MS!), or a nightly dog-walk. The music flows around you and through you, leaving you touched and wanting more. (Thanks, by the way, for bringing it back out on CD!) Honestly, the words don't come easily. These gentlemen have put together a work of art! Frame it and hang it in the Louvre!

Viv sings so well on this album!
I haven\'t had the chance to listen to material from his other bands, but I can say he sings so well on his own here. He sounds different than his solo album and his voice is just as great here as with Def Leppard. I didn\'t know \"To Be Alive\" was a Clock song first? I LOVE this version just as much because he sings this so lovely. I love acoustic guitars and with the piano it sounds beautiful! \"Underdog\" and \"No Matter\" are my other top favorites on this album. I wish there were more songs to listen to. I got hooked on this album for days after I got it. If this is a greatest hits collection, then where can I get the rest of the Clock albums? I\'m taking this cd with me on my road trip this week! :D
