Album Notes
Life's changes, big or small, can put you to the test. A dear friend came to me and asked if I would write and record a song to coincide with the release of her novel. Her novel, Rebound. A story about a woman who must come to terms with a life-changing incident. The song is about finding that fight within and battling every obstacle placed in front of you, and what is more important, changing any message of defeat that flows through your mind to a positive one.

My friend's request just so happened to come at a time when I was facing a change in my life. It would be the catalyst to help me push forward and overcome obstacles of my own. I was determined to see this project through from start to finish. With the exception of the drum track, I went on to record the guitars, bass, and keyboard tracks, along with the vocals. I mixed and mastered the song to complete the process. *Note: I believe in the preservation of one's hearing so this song was mastered to retain the sound quality of each instrument and what is more important, your hearing.

Some of the song lyrics from Rebound:

One step forward - two steps to the side
fall down, hit the ground - again you try
'cause nothing easy is worth it at all
you’ll come out fighting when your back’s to the wall

Just steady yourself and breathe
you’ll see it when you believe
one step - soon becomes five
it’s all inside

Rebound and reload
take each moment nice and slow
the struggle gives you the strength to survive
Rebound and revive
