Album Notes

An Americana Artist, Campbell has rendered himself to be a true songwriter who reflects a wide range of musical genres. In A Pretty Good Man, Campbell explores his relationship to himself, his world, and the power within us all. From the high-energy bluegrass tune "Telluride Bound" to the world beat of "The Power of You", his words are authentic and searching for truth. Other tunes such as "Rain Gods" and the mysterious and blues-driven "Drive" leave us wondering why songs like these are not crafted anymore. The level of depth in his songwriting becomes even more apparent in his acoustically raw tribute to his father "I Will not Let You Go" (think Pearl Jam unplugged)- and in his country ballad "A Pretty Good Man" where he explores the meaning of fatherhood. All in all, a fabulous CD that should be added to your playlist.
