ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The binding theme of this all-instrumental project was to keep it traditional sounding, but with added twists and hooks to augment interest. “More Blues For Carter” expands a theme from A.P. Carter’s “Carter’s Blues.” “Haystack Rag” is a polka in a bluegrass groove, whereas “Big E’s Polka” is as oom-pah as it gets. Eddie plays banjo, guitar, mandolin and bass. Mike Montgomery helps out on fiddle and Billy Bright: adds some hot mandolin. Amy Collins plays flute on "Angeline The Baker." An ideal rapid transit system should provide you with quick travel when needed, but also intereting out-of-the-way destinations. Hop on board and enjoy the ride!
