ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The album displays the band's love for acoustic instruments and captures an intimacy rarely found in the recording industry today. The gnarly grit of Jones' vocals, the low thump and rumble of Perna's bass and McTavitt's drums, the buzz of Gainty's fingers sliding across bronze wound strings – it all melts together into a sonic bloom that brings the listener directly into the recording studio for an unprecedented first-hand listening experience.

Water From A Broken Dam - three years in the making, the band spent countless hours in the Tone & Tenor studios writing, recording and producing the songs that made it onto their debut album. When asked about the album title, songwriter, Matt Jones, states, "Have you ever seen water rushing from a broken dam? It's an awesome ... unstoppable force. That's what it felt like…and truth be told, it was a hell of a lot of fun."
